I have been planning on blogging for awhile... kept making outfits, taking pics... then having to change or log out before I wrote down all the bloody info. So, today since I am kinda blah and just want to fuck around abit, I decided to blog.... then I saw a meme on Jadelyn's blog and went "FINE, FINE, I'll blog already, sheesh!" lol.
The song today is kind of towards me. I have been all over the place health-wise and emotionally lately. I think a dear friend of mine from karaoke caught onto it without really realizing, because he sang this song to me today, had me near in tears... I don't think he will know how appropriate that song is this week, and since he doesn't read this, he won't know. LOL
So today, I am going to show you a style of outfit I have been wearing A LOT. I love a good corset, but I don't want to take off my Tangos (most mesh corsets except for Etchaflesh's Busty line don't fit with the girls as well), so when a friend of mine told me about the underbust corsets he makes, I ran over to his store, and got both his group gift corset (which I am wearing) and the obsidian-colored one he sells. He's making more now too, so I will be stocking up as the tips and sales allow me:)
The jeans a lot of you will recognize.. they are the liquid mesh ones from Redgrave. I wasn't too sure about these, and the alphas are a bit of a pain in the ass to figure out which one will work with your shape... I even had to tweak my body fat a bit, which irked me (I DON'T WANNA BE TWIGGY!), but we do what we must to look good, right? Just cracks me up that liquid mesh is supposed to conform more... and I had to edit my standard mesh-clothing-shape to wear it..LOL!
The shirt is a sweater fat pack that I adore so much from BoobieLicious, called My Nice Sweater. Comes in a variety of shades, looks good alone or in layers like this:) I love something that I can wear 90328945898932 ways:)

On my first avvie, on my first week on SL I ran across Heavenly Rose Nightclub and the owner and then-head-DJ at the time took pity on the ugly little newblet. They took me shopping and gave me a job:) Gods, I miss that place.
Where do you spend most of your SL time now? Mostly at home or ~O~ Karaoke Lounge til someone wants me, or at Club Erotique on Tues and Thursday nights, or Opium II on Wednesdays. I am pretty easy to find.

So I was going through my mind on what outfit to toss together. I wanted something from a little of different stores I love, something I would wear in the real world that felt comfy and stylish but still gave that sexual appeal. Many years ago, when I was working in offices, this would have definitely been something I would have pulled together, except maybe a dark green blazer... but this sweater works pretty well, don't you think?
So off I went into my closet, finding the top to an outfit I got at a Bewbapalooza show from Alterego to wear as a chemise (or shell, depending on where you are from...LOL)....... a nice pencil skirt from my beloved J'adore, complete with thin leather belt.......... that great ALMOST FREE cardigan sweater from my awesome friend at [QE] Designs.... slipped on my calf boots from HOC. I completed the outfit with a necklace from Indyra...not my normal kind of necklace, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for and it kind of works with the outfit even though I am Pagan...;)

No, I am not talking about reminiscing over some damn Twilight book....LOL!
Many many lifetimes ago, when I was but a hormonal barely-adult girl-woman, I was a Floridian. And every year around this time, when the snow is up to my ass in the backyard and we are waiting for the next onslaught of snow and wind, I get a little homesick for my childhood home.... for the jetties, the packed beaches, the sand dunes, and searching for driftwood and shells while barefoot, carrying my shoes in my hand so I can feel the soft squish of the sand between my toes.
Of course, reminding myself how much I hate Florida in the summer (120F/49C) with 100% humidity in the air without rain... helllllll nah. Bring on the fuckin' blizzards.
SL helps with the nostalgia without the plane trip and reminders of why I left. LOL!
So, today I bring you an ensemble I would have worn when I was last home, especially after a date and a few drinks, followed by a walk by the dunes (hey, it's still called a walk if you leave with sand in other places, right? Right.) J'adore has put out this Sparkle Tank, which is just absolutely stunning:) The skirt is from Blueberry and has become a staple piece of my wardrobe, as it comes with both modest and smaller alphas, which I can use for "peek a boo" shots. The bracelets are from my sister Tempest Jewell's store, ~TEMPESTUOUS~... and they are REALLLY quite nice! They complimented this perfectly, so she sent them to me JUST at the right time:D And the shoes.. omfg, the shoes. The new Gos Boutique line of shoes are just stunning, and easy even for my color-matching-disabled self to handle. Ohhh thank you so much for making these. LOL!
And let me not forget to mention the scene I am using. Studio Skye has been one of my favorite places to get beautiful textures for my homes and builds, and some of their own builds such as this make the hobby photographer in me SOOOOO happy. This baby is PACKED with 3 menu-screens full of poses... and it's easily adjustable too. I haven't bought it, I am doing these pics from their display spot. When I can afford it as well as figure out a smaller-primmed mesh home that I like, I am going to set this up in a scene in the sky:D
